Lisa Carver will be at Grenier Piccard this Sunday evening

In downtown San Diego, this Sunday night, the one and only …
LISA CARVER (aka Lisa Suckdog) !!!

Carver has recently authored RECONSIDERING YOKO ONO, a stream of consciousness biography of sorts about Yoko Ono. The plan for Sunday night is that she will be doing interpretations of Ono’s various performance art acts such as “Scream” and “Cut”, but with Lisa Carver one should expect almost anything.

You can read an adaptive excerpt of the book from last week (10/19/12) on the New York Times website HERE and check out a interview with Carver by Amy Keller HERE.

Lisa Carver is a writer and performance artist best known for her legendary fanzine Rollerderby. Her books include _________ (an untitled memoir of paintings and vignettes of unremembered childhood), Drugs Are Nice, The Lisa Diaries, and Dancing Queen, in which she expounds upon various relics of pop-culture past, including Lawrence Welk, roller rinks, and Olivia Newton-John. She lives in Dover, New Hampshire.
