Seems there’s now a new very band-friendly nightclub on El Cajon Boulevard, and we’re not talking about the Zombie Lounge. In April, Chasers nightclub on El Cajon Boulevard posted this on their Myspace:
Chaser’s will only book bands that are 21
We do a $5 $4 $3 “cover”depending on the band) which the band(s) gets 100% of, for bigger shows we do guarantee’s which is worked out with those bands when the show is booked. All bands load in from the street, “not the back door.”
So if you’re a band and you’re looking to play I suggest you go talk to the good people at Chasers. If you’re entrepreneurial and can attract a bit of a crowd, it just might pay. ~RR
