We just got the new David Gilmour CD, On An Island, in last night from for review. Comes in a nice blue book-style CD case with the picture lyrics in it… I’m reviewing this one PERSONALLY.
Listening to track one right now, “Castellorizon,” and it reminds me of parts of Radio K.A.O.S., from Roger Waters, Pink Floyd’s main musical engineer, only … different.
OK, I’ll have a review up soon for you, one hopefully less obtuse. I will say this though. I’m REALLY happy to be reviewing a new album from this artist. I see that he waited 22 years to record this, his third album. I have a feeling I’ll be able to lsiten to it many, many, many times, and not grow tired of it. RR
