Adjusting my chakra
by Reviewer Rob
I had a sound bowls therapy session at my new North County gym I’m a member at now. Check it out. I shot video for your enjoyment and education out there in Reviewer TV land.
I’ve done an internet search about this now after today’s session and it seems to be popular among a certain elite set of groovy people. I’d like to do it again since it was very relaxing — and left me with a balanced chakra. Okay, maybe I don’t really know what that means: “chakra”. But I felt good afterward and really, what more can you ask for from any kind of therapy?
Leah, my trainer, softly talked me through the sound session and explained the placement of the bowls as they were being rung and coaxed into a vibrational symphony. Her voice is so calming, and adds a nice light touch to it all. If I was wealthy I’d max out on these visits and do it at least twice or three times a week with as many bowls as possible all around and on top of me. Really nice experience.
Leah has Sound Bowls therapy sessions available through Anytime Fitness in Encinitas, at $50 per 30-minute session.
