San Diego, CA – Visual invites you to a showcase of new work from Jetter Green and Teddy Pancake. Please join us on Saturday, March 8th from 5-10pm.

By expanding our perceptions and being open not only to this reality, but also to the possibility of alternate realities, we can see the world around us differently. From this broader perspective we find new or innovative ways to approach life’s challenges. The COSMOSIS art, set in outer space, allows viewers the opportunity to see things in this bigger, more expansive way. Jetter’s geometric works explore the psychedelic traditions of repetition and the layering of patterns/elements. Pancake’s surreal paintings reflect on our position in the universe, and use this cosmic backdrop as a metaphor for our relationships, trials and opportunities here on earth.

With heightened awareness we take notice not only of the cosmic beauty, but also of the earthly struggles of those in our community. Using this insight we are proud to be helping Wyatt’s Wish raise funds to obtain their Nonprofit 501(c)(3) Status. Wyatt’s Wish is an organization started by Wyatt, a ten-year-old San Diegan dedicated to providing essential supplies to homeless people in our neighborhoods. About the Artists

Teddy Pancake lives and works in San Diego, drawing inspiration from family and friends, music, books, educational lectures and mental exploration. Pancake’s detailed creations reveal a surreal universe, teeming with universal motifs and cosmic drama, carefully rendered in vivid psychedelic color. Earning a B.S. degree in New Media has given him the necessary skills to thrive in the current digital environment, although he prefers to execute the vast majority of his work using traditional analog tools. teddypancake.com

Jetter Green: Born and raised in San Diego, Jetter’s love for art began at an early age when he was introduced to the work of MC Escher and the PBS show Imagination Station. Growing up in a home with artistic parents, his talents were nurtured, which eventually led him to attend Art School where he developed his technical trade. The countless psychedelic works he witnessed at art and music festivals, later inspired him to create his own. Currently, Jetter works as a freelance graphic designer in his PJ’s by day. When feeling inspired, he disconnects from the outside world and immerses into his creative space to articulate his visions through the computer. jettergreen.com
