Below: scan of a document submitted as evidence by the prosecution and included in their February 2006 sentencing memorandum against Randy “Duke” Cunningham, penned by his own hand on his own Congressional office stationery for the benefit of “co-conspirator #2” (defense contractor Mitchell Wade). The left column lists millions of dollars of government contracts; the right column lists the thousands of dollars in bribes required to secure them. The figures in the right column are increases; e.g. $50,000 in bribes would mean the difference between $18 million and $19 million of awarded contracts. “BT” is an abbreviation for “Buoy Toy” — a 42 foot Carver yacht that Cunningham eventually purchased for $140,000 (noted as “140” to the right). The boat purchase was financed by Wade in exchange for $16 million in contracts. Cunningham renamed it the “Duke-stir.”

Cunningham is currently incarcerated in the minimum security satellite camp at the U.S. Penitentiary at Tucson, Arizona. He was assigned federal inmate number 94405-198 and his scheduled release date is June 4, 2013
