The Original Instant Photography

Polaroids by Anne Sophie

I had long forgot the old polaroid 600 my dad gave me two decades ago until a couple of years ago as I was surfing on the internet I realised how fashionable they had become.

I had the camera, the next step was to get films for it. I first went to my old town’s photography shop where I was told that the Kodack factory had stopped producing them a while ago and that there was no way of getting them any longer.

Disappointed, I asked a friend who told me she was getting hers off the internet. That’s were I went and there you go I was starting playing with instant photography again and again.

I think I kind of got addicted to it. The films are different from the 80’s (the one I use are from the Impossible Factory), the Kodack ones that you still find on e-bay are very expensive…

I just like to try all the different films (silver, black & white or colored ones). I even got a brand new camera a PX-70 that gives a new edge to the experiment.

Although, I find the result uneven and sometimes disappointing it’s always fun and I always want more.
