PUNCHFACE

IF Incubus, Tool and The Red Hot Chili Peppers had a musical orgy, blacked out, and woke up the next morning, standing there would be PUNCHFACE, the high-energy alternative rock band from the San Francisco Bay Area.

Although inspired by the hard rock bands they grew up with, PUNCHFACE, incorporates its own funky pop stylings, to create a fresh fusion of high-energy, melodic rockin’ tunes that simply get the crowd moving wherever they go. __PUNCHFACE came together in 2006 when two long time friends Ryan Tapley (Lead Guitar) and Nick Machado (Bass) posted an add on Craigslist, looking for a lead singer/songwriter. After countless auditions, and just as they were ready to give up the search, they heard from Justin, who not only expressed great interest in the position, but also mentioned that he was a mentor at a youth center, practiced MuayThai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, was an expert Wilderness Survivalist….and was soon to spend some time in rural Thailand to become Buddhist Monk. But could he sing and perform? He nailed it. __PUNCHFACE, featuring Justin Alexander (Vocals), Ryan Tapley (Guitar), Nick Machado (Bass), and Spike (Drums) then began playing shows all over the Bay Area, delivering explosive live performances at venues and youth centers, large and small, including an end of the year show at Slims in San Francisco.

PUNCHFACE
recently released its debut 14-track album, recorded at Castle Ultimate Studios in Oakland, California. Several of the songs have already been featured in radio advertising and on sports videos, including the tracks “Backing Down”, “Analysis Paralysis” and “Celebrate” which was featured in advertising for the Sarah and No Name Show on KLLC San Francisco, Alice 97.3. In late 2007, the same track “Celebrate” captured over 30,000 views on YouTube in less than a week when new fans made a pictorial music video of celebrations from around the world.

So…If you are ready, come along with us for the ride in 2008 and we promise a adventure worth remembering….

“All I want in the end is to be great… Oh, to be remembered…”
