As for me, I like to think of myself as a hack writer and an amateur musicologist, but I only make a point of paying attention to a few subgenres that you probably dont get many submissions for: goth/industrial, metal, trance, the occasional electro or pop or art-piece act. Plus I’m offensive, even when I’m doing something like giving directions. But then you’ve probably figured that out.
