I have to agree fully…except…. My story works in the opposite way, I used to drink exclusively micro beer having no respect for light beers or cheap beer mostly because it gave me a headache. But about two years ago I was broke as hell (still am), had no means of transportation (thank god that’s over) and lived across the street from a local dive pub. I mean dive, cracks in the floorboards, ceiling, bar stools from 50 years ago, and about three light bulbs in the entire place, the sunniest of days could never penetrate the one window joint. So anyway, I started to drink Bud because draft mugs were 75 cents, and I’m not sure what happened next but I fell in love with it, now most times that’s all I will drink.

Bud is OK. All those mass-produced type beers are like McDonalds fast food to me now though.
