Recently, a very good friend of the jam band/Burning Man community, Jean Casey was involved in a major car accident while on her way to Vegoose Music Festival. Jean suffered several fractures to her skull and the vertebrate in her neck and back, as well as severe bruising in her lungs.
Because Jean is self-employed, she has no medical insurance and is ineligible for disability while out of work. Jean will be solely responsible for hospital bills as well as many months of physical rehabilitation
Jean graduated with a degree in Physics and currently works as a loan officer through Valley Vista Mortgage but is interested in pursuing a career in Green Building. Jean is also an active member of the Pacific Beach Women’s Club.
