The Devil Disappoints in Prada
By Christina Armani

If you go to see The Devil Wears Prada this summer you may be in for a big disappointment. Almost as soon as the movie started, the plot became very predictable and I knew how it was going to end. On the bright side however, Anne Hathaway has come a long way from the Princess Diaries and looks georgious all grown up. In the movie, Anne Hathaway plays the star Andy Sachs who gets a job that many girls would kill for. Although the movie does have a moral and shows the meaning of integrity, it wasnt as funny as it was protrayed to be. Meryl Streep is the only real funny person in the movie with her role as Miranda Priestly the overbearing editor of runway magazine. I also imagine that some of the jokes would be very offensive to people suffering from annorexia or their friends and family. Although the movie did have some funny parts in it, I found some of them to be in bad taste. If you are into the current fashion frenzy or have a boss who is a tyrant who loves to make you run around all day you will surely enjoy this movie. That’s all.
