Rumple Phoreskin analyzes
Chloe Sevigney in the BROKEN FLOWERS dvd

I just wanted to comment here so I could see my name on top of Chloe Sevigny’s. I think that scene where she shows full frontal was an integral part, nay, an indispensible part of the STORY.

It paraded in front of the viewers the potential genetic reason for Bill Murray’s character’s quest (albeit the letter said a son). Why do you think he left Sharon Stone’s house so abruptly? It wasn’t because he felt perverted. We already know him as an unreformable womanizer. It’s because he was stricken by a sudden fear of getting his popsicle sucked by his “daughter.” All these women on the list had been potential fertile ground for his seed, and he begins to wonder if there may be more kids of his out there – like at the very end of the movie where he starts to go wacko with that young traveling guy and then sees his face in the dude who passes by in the car.

This is a movie that may be hard for someone as young as many of the people in its audience to appreciate, but once you’ve spent 20 years chasing skirts you’ll be able to see its point. It’ll be as clear as the points on Chloe’s chest. When the phrase “fucked a girl half-my-age” means something to you, then BROKEN FLOWERS will make sense. I can see it because I just passed a related milestone: girls half my age are now old enough to drink in bars. RP

I tell ya…I go fishing there every other weekend…amazing

Two years ago they caught a Great White about 25miles off the coast of Sandy Hook…

It’s intersting why a Great White would wander into cold waters like that…

They’re amazing creatures, ranging from the arctic circle to the tropics of Hawaii. They actally do seem to prefer colder waters though. At the Farrallon Islands off thr Golden Gate they feed on massed sea lions in great school-like groups. It’s terrifying to watch.

No doubt…It’s just almost unheard of here in Jersey that a Great White would come to shallow waters, there’s nothing really that big close to shore that they would feed on like sea lions, if they’re were I would have hoped to caught one by now…no such luck!

Would love to see them feed liked you described off the Farrallon Island
