Photos and bio by Natacia Manibusan
“In high school I began exploring a career in photography. For years I was self taught and quickly found work with realtors, musicians and families. After completing an internship at Food & Wine Magazine and receiving an education in Commercial Photography from Brooks Institute of Photography, I returned to San Diego where I reside today.
“For over 17 years, I have successfully and creatively captured the essence of my subjects in a wide range of niche genres including Families and Family Events, Businesses, Fine Art, Events/Fundraisers, Pets, Maternity, Newborns, Fashion, Hotels, and Weddings. My photographs have been in brochures, magazines (print/online), newspaper/other forms of print, internet advertising, press material, social media outlets, resource books and have been displayed and viewed internationally.
“I worked with Radio Station Sophie 103.7 in San Diego for talent like Rob Thomas, Sugar Ray, Uncle Kracker, Switchfoot, Better Than Ezra, Mat Kearney, James Blunt, Melissa Etheridge and more. I have also worked with other radio stations for events and concerts in San Diego.
“I currently do still photography and my primary focus has been events, concerts, musician press-kits/merchandise, headshots, set-stills and behind-the-scenes photography for the entertainment industry.”
[Natacia told me she shot these photos on August 16 to 18, 2013, and that she plans to be shooting at and reporting from this year’s Indiefest for REVIEWER MAGAZINE when it resumes on March 28. ~Editor]
