Just saw David Lee Roth do a countrified version of “Jump” for the finale of the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Pretty good, even with the backup singer help to hit the higher notes. He’s still got it. And I liked the use of the upright bass, slide guitar, and I think there was a banjo, mandolin and some other hillbilly instruments in there too. I guess it would have been a bit much to have a jug blower or a washtub bass…

Makes me wonder where I can find his talk show on the radio. It’s been six months now since he replaced Howard Stern.
