James Haitchwai is living the life of a true punk rocker. He has lived roller coaster ups and downs of holding on to his dream. The 24 year-old from Rockville, Maryland, now resides in Washington DC and is couch surfing while doing his own recordings. There are over 200 songs, 2 EP’s, 3 LP’s and 1 live disc in his repertoire.

He has released his first studio recorded CD titled Code which has 10 tracks of acoustic songs with easy titles such as “Speaking in Code”, “Sleep”, “Untitled” and “Bone” to name just a few. The songs show he can play a guitar and write lyrics. But, in all honesty, James Haitchwai needs to fine tune his vocals, consider a back up or use a program to clear his up. There is much to say for his perseverance and dedication to his art; He is driven and determined even though he has not received a good review.

There are some musicians that play better live, lets hope Jame’s is one of those. I wish I could see him perform live, but he has no shows scheduled to date. A beautiful corruption.

You can purchase Code or any of his music online.

myspace.com/jameshaitchwai
JamesHaitchwai.com

Washington DC singer/songwriterJames Haitchwai releases Code review by Kathryn Reade “The first step – especially for young people with energy and drive and talent, but not money – the first step to controlling your world is to control your culture.
