Having toured with several prestigious bands, including the acclaimed rock band the Impotent Sea Snakes for four years, the vehement diva tore her vocal cords in 2004 and could no longer perform. Determined to succeed no matter what, XZanthia chose to modify the course of her dream, instead focusing on art, photography, modeling and acting. She opened a massive 10,000sqft art gallery/club venue/ live-in artist society devoted to “specializing in the bizarre” and divulging to the surrounding community a broader understanding of aesthetic refinement.

XZanthia (pronounced ex-ZAN-thee-ah), born in Lawrence, Massachusetts on September 25th, 1979 has always dreamed big and lived it up. Despite a troubled childhood, XZanthia possesses a tenacious, indestructible can-do, will-do attitude that, when paired with her colossal artistic aspirations, enables her to laugh in the face of failure and keep on doing whatever she needs to do to succeed. Keeping herself free from the influences of drugs and alcohol, she instead gets high off of life, taking on numerous creative endeavors that showcase her multiple talents in the fields of art, photography, modeling, music, literature and films. This alternative beauty queen has been there and done it all, from college to business to production, but the road doesn’t stop there. Armed with talent, intelligence, determination and a growing substantial fanbase throughout America, XZanthia has set her sails in the direction of world conquest as one of Florida’s most prospective filmmakers.

Upon her gallery’s closing in early 2007 due to the landlord’s lack of a certificate of occupancy, XZanthia moved back to Land O Lakes, Florida to inherit her father’s nudist resort and to devote her time to making films. On site at the resort was built a 3,000sqft video and photography studio, home to XZanthia’s ultramodern production company, Inner Flame Studios. Equipped with a troupe of talented writers, actors, artists, musicians and cinematographers from all over the globe, Inner Flame Studios sets out to conquer the creative industry featuring avant-garde films specializing in artistic storytelling. The studio’s latest project, a short silent film titled EMILY, will be directed by XZanthia along with her personal assistant, story writer Anastasia, and is set to be released in January 2008. EMILY chronicles the adventures of an enchanted yet ingenuous rag doll set free in an unsavory yet fascinating world, where her experiences shape her and ultimately lead her to triumph in true love. Featuring an intense musical soundtrack, bizarre sound effects and stunning inventive visuals, EMILY is expected to be nothing short of a masterpiece.

In addition to making films, XZanthia also occasionally hosts one-of-a-kind events at her father’s nudist resort. Such events include her annual XBash, a clothing-optional weekend festival held every August in honor of her birthday in the hurricane month of September. Photographic events in which models and photographers are welcome to attend are held once a month, and “Thursday Night Of The Arts”, a casual evening of art creation, music and friends, are held weekly. “Project 19.5”, an ongoing abstract endeavor focusing on the visual-audio sensory experience, is another one of XZanthia’s creative ventures.

Information on the movie EMILY, Events, and XZanthia herself can be found on her website at http://www.XZanthia.com.

VE

[artist profile] Sticking To The Plot Rock-and-Roll, Filmmaking and Managing Her Dad’s Nudist Resort This is not a movie script – for alt-celebrity XZanthia this her life by Valerie Endortine Born with an intense passion for art and an insatiable craving for knowledge, ambitious XZanthia was initially interested in pursuing a music career as a rock singer.
