Blues musicians, blues jammers and Jump-Swing Blues aficionados: come early to Peter D’s Nightclub<\/a> at 7 pm and have a drink and sign up to jam this Wednesday night, March 21, at 5149 Claremont Mesa Blvd<\/a>! ~RR<\/p>\n

Mystery Train<\/a> of San Diego, a Jump-Swing Blues and Root Rock & Roll band is currently hosting two weekly blues jams in San Diego. Every Monday night at O’Connell’s (1013 Morena Blvd.) we host the Pro-Invitational Blues Jam from 8 – 12:30 AM. Sign-up is at 7:15 PM. This is a pro-level jam. <\/p>\n

We’re also starting a new Wednesday night “Hump-Day Open Blues Jam” at Peter D’s<\/a> (5149 Claremont Mesa Blvd.<\/a>) 8-12:30 AM. Sign-up is at 7:15. Musicians may use their own guitar amps or ours. Bass rig and drums are provided. See Sonny Derin or Jimi D for the sign-up sheet. $3 Cuba Libre<\/i> (Fidel’s favorite) drink specials! FREE HOT DOGS! Sign-up at 7:15 PM; Individuals or bands can sign up — all musicians welcome<\/p>\n

Backline provided of drums and bass amp, guitar amp and harp amp.<\/p>\n

7:15 PM: Sign-up sheet available
\n8:00 – 8:50: 1st Jam Set (Mystery Train to open set and then call up jammers)
\n9:00 – 9:50: 2nd Jam Set (MC to introduce musicians)
\n10:00- 10:50 The Mystery Train Power Set (a special guest musician will accompany MT)
\n11:10 – 12:30 3rd Jam Set (MCs will introduce and switch out musicians as needed to get eveyone that signed up a chance to play)<\/p>\n

Guitar and Harp players can bring their own amp or use ours. Musicians must bring their own instruments. <\/p>\n
