Still Revolting With Trevor<\/strong><\/h1>\n

I was at the painting studio of Trevor Watson yesterday and was checking out his video gear. Trevor paints colorful canvases of beach life all the time, has amazed hundreds of works, and has also morphed from the print media aesthete that he was into a full on commercial video hound, doing video jobs for companies as far away as Australia. Here he is holding some of his state-of-the-art gear in his paint smeared fingers. He’s showing a cigar-sized JDI Pocket video camera. He also uses the latest drone technology with a DJI Mavic Mini. Thirty-five years ago when I met Trev in Pacific Beach he was on the cutting edge of kulture locally by doing Club iD with Lynn O’Rourke and Revolt In Style Magazine, and time has not tampered with that creative spark or desire to seek out what’s hip.<\/p>\n
