Here’s the cover image of Reviewer Magazine #1, summer of 1996, premier issue, with Stephanie on the cover. I was planning on posting it in the previous entry but guess I didn’t just save it as a draft and tapped enter before I got around to it. <\/p>\n

AGFA black and white 25 speed film, a specialty German film, it has no grain, and the contrast is superb. I used it a lot back then, at least often enough to know I liked it. I might take it up again, since I still have that camera, a Nikon FM2. A real workhorse of a camera body you can actually use it with no battery at all and it’ll work on mechanics alone. Totally analog, as they say.<\/p>\n

Stephanie wasn’t an aspiring model. She wasnt trying to get signed by a talent agency. She was a girl I met in a coffee shop on Garnet Avenue in Pacific Beach while she was waiting to talk to the owner. She was a salesgirl trying to make a sale. I liked her look and got her number. Then wah-lah. Cover action.<\/p>\n
