It’s been more than 16 years since the cover story<\/a> that blew up Chris Squire’s drug scene lifestyle, and a lot has changed. He’s sober now. He doesn’t drink or do meth, deal or mule drugs anymore, for six years now, but he still smokes weed. That’s being “San Diego sober,” as he calls it. He’s married to a woman in Baltimore and they live in the multi-story home they own there. When he’s not helping out The Ravagers as their manager on tour with Suzi Moon he’s got legitimate work as a sound tech at an Annapolis nightclub, a country bar no less. He appeared happy when I met with him the night of May 7 at The Redwood Bar & Grill in Los Angeles, not hunted like the time when I saw him in downtown SD in the mid-2000’s.<\/p>\n
