Wow - Bottom of the Hill - that name brings back good memories. Memories of the best city on earth - San Francisco. I'd give my right pinky to be able to teleport myself and my stuff back there to a nice little studio apartment in the Haight area or Marina or Union Square, etc. That's one of the awesome things about The City - there are so many great clubs there that every night of the week one has the ability to catch a show somewhere - There's the classic places - Fillmore, Warfield, Cow Palace(the one's that are still open, unlike the late Avalon Ballroom, Winterland, the Matrix and more). SF is basically 180 degrees away from the old-people/tourist infested San Diego. Osama - we need you badly here in SD!

Love the pix! But, seriously, folks, let's get over the fact that this guy is dead and gone and he ain't comin' back! OK? And the funny thing is that it wasn't MJ who made MJ Michael Jackson, except for his slick dance moves. Quincy Jones is the man behind the music - he wrote or co-wrote all Jackson's main hits and produced his albums, guided his style, etc. Quincy has always had a genius for spotting talent and developing potential greatness into extraordinary stuff - Motown-style and beyond! So, as long as Quincy's around the music will keep on coming! - KM

To Polytrew: I'm glad you replied, but, unfortunately, they didn't offer Russian at the high school I attended. If you can translate it into English I'd be much obliged!
Thanks,

Thanks Mike, can't wait to get back to Oregon and Portland. If I can work out a way to make a living there I'll stay and spend years finding new Portland quirks to write about.

Thanks for the comment. I think the dude needs more opposition than one small voice from another hemisphere. He'd be hilarious if not so dangerous.
